Our Services

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy sessions typically range from 45 to 60 minutes. During individual sessions, you and your therapist discuss your concerns and challenges and work together toward your treatment goals.

Play Therapy

Play therapy is designed for children under 12 years old. Therapists use a combination of expressive, play-based, and talk-based techniques to help children work toward their treatment goals.

Sessions typically range from 30 to 45 minutes, with an additional 5 to 15 minutes available for consultation with parents or guardians.

Family Therapy

Family therapy involves working with two or more family members toward shared treatment goals.

Family therapy may also be used alongside individual or play therapy when doing so best meets the needs of the patient and family.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy works with partners experiencing relationship difficulties or wanting to strengthen their relationship.

Sessions may focus on improving communication, addressing relationship concerns, strengthening connection, and resolving conflict.

Parent Coaching

Parent coaching provides parents and guardians with support around concerns such as:

  • Managing a child's behavior at home

  • Advocating for a child at school

  • Developing effective parenting strategies

  • Practicing self-care as a parent or caregiver

Group Therapy

Group therapy involves sessions with three or more participants focused on a particular topic or shared concern.

Groups may include parent education, social-skills development, support groups, and other areas based on patient needs and current availability.

Executive Functioning Coaching

Executive functioning coaching focuses on developing practical skills related to executive functioning challenges.

Areas of support may include:

  • Organization

  • Time management

  • Social and empathy skills

  • Problem-solving

  • Communication skills

Educational Advocacy

Educational advocacy supports children, teens, young adults, and their families as they navigate educational concerns.

Whether someone is transitioning to high school or college or a parent is advocating for a child's needs in elementary or secondary school, we can provide coaching and guidance to help patients and families understand and advocate for their educational needs and rights.

Animal-Assisted Therapy

Animal-assisted therapy incorporates a canine co-therapist as an alternative or complement to traditional talk-based or play-based therapy.

A therapy dog may sometimes connect with a patient or provide comfort and support in ways that feel different from traditional therapy.

Animal-assisted interventions may be incorporated into individual, group, or play-based therapy when appropriate.
